FlowStack Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FlowStack collects, how school workflow data is used, and how billing, demos, imports, support, and deletion requests work.

Effective date: May 22, 2026

1. What FlowStack is

FlowStack provides focused school workflow tools for Ticketing, Inventory, Discussion, and Scanning. Each app has its own workspace data, users, access rules, plan page, and public demo. Public demos use synthetic data and do not write to a real workspace.

2. Information we collect

FlowStack may collect account information such as name, email address, role, approval status, workspace membership, workspace name, and sign-in/session details.

FlowStack apps may also store school workflow data entered or imported by approved users, such as ticket details, inventory records, discussion activity, scan records, class or roster details, settings, audit history, and support notes.

3. Student and workspace data

Student data should be entered, imported, or managed only by authorized school users for legitimate school workflow purposes. Workspace owners and approved admins are responsible for choosing what data belongs in their workspace and for managing user access.

FlowStack does not sell student data. FlowStack uses workspace data to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the requested app workflows.

4. Public demos

Public demos are preview environments using synthetic sample data. Demo actions are intended to stay on the demo page and do not create real workspace records, billing sessions, Classroom imports, or production student records.

5. Sign-in, sessions, and access control

FlowStack uses sign-in and session data to keep users in the correct workspace, enforce approval status, apply role-based access, and protect private app pages. Some public pages, such as demos and plan pages, may be available without signing in.

6. Billing and Stripe

FlowStack uses Stripe for card checkout, billing portal sessions, subscriptions, receipts, payment methods, trials, cancellations, and refunds where applicable. FlowStack does not store full card numbers. Stripe handles payment method and payment processing data under Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.

FlowStack stores only the billing information needed to connect a workspace to its plan, such as plan status, billing cadence, source, subscription lifecycle, and whether billing management is available to the billing owner.

7. Imports and integrations

Some FlowStack apps may support imports or integrations such as Google Classroom. When an approved user connects or imports data, FlowStack uses the imported data to provide the requested workspace workflow. Imported data should be limited to what the workspace needs for that school workflow.

8. Support and contact emails

If you email FlowStack, we may use the information in that message to respond, diagnose issues, coordinate billing or purchasing, verify workspace context, and keep a support record. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for the request.

9. Security and retention

FlowStack uses reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect workspace data. No online service can guarantee perfect security or uninterrupted availability.

FlowStack keeps account, workspace, audit, billing-status, and support data for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve issues, meet operational needs, or satisfy legitimate recordkeeping requirements. Retention may vary by app and workflow.

10. Deletion, correction, and export requests

Workspace owners or authorized school contacts may request help correcting, exporting, or deleting workspace data by emailing support. Some data may need to be retained for billing, audit, security, or backup reasons.

11. Children's privacy

FlowStack is intended for school-managed workflows, not direct unsupervised use by children outside a school or authorized workspace context. Schools and workspace owners are responsible for obtaining any required permissions before entering, importing, or managing student information in FlowStack.
