About Ray
Ray Stribling-Vergara brings a practical, student-centered teaching style shaped by classroom music education, live performance, and rehearsal work. He earned a degree in Music Education in 2015 and teaches singers with attention to healthy technique, musicianship, preparation, and confidence.
Ray performs periodically at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and supports high school musical productions as a rehearsal accompanist and conductor at the school where he teaches. That mix of teaching, accompanying, conducting, and performance informs lessons that are structured, musical, and responsive to each student's goals.

Lesson policies
Lesson times are coordinated after intake review. Online lessons are available when they are a better fit for location, timing, or continuity.
Families should request schedule changes as early as possible. Cancellations requested more than 24 hours before the lesson are eligible for a refund; cancellations inside 24 hours are normally held as credit for a future lesson unless Ray approves a refund for the circumstances.
Students should arrive ready to sing, practice between lessons when possible, and share relevant health, learning, or scheduling notes through the intake form.
Current lesson options and rates are shared after the initial request and intake review, so the recommendation can match the student's needs.
